SK Gaming and TCM-Gaming have both been confirmed as attendees at the IEM5 World Championship.
The European Championship Finals were initially supposed to hand out tickets to the season's final event only to the teams who placed from first to seventh.
But due to fnatic having already been granted a spot at the event after winning the Global Challenge in Shanghai, the last European post will go to the eighth-placed side in Kiev.
This means that SK and TCM-Gaming, both of whom finished in fourth place in their respective groups, will not have to play against each other in order to find out the last European representative.
Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that Electronic Sahara will be the first pick in the event of a team dropping out of the IEM5 World Championship.
The Frenchmen were due to meet forZe for the honour, but the Russian side forfeited the match.
The IEM5 World Championship, which will feature 12 participants, will take place from 1-5 March at CeBIT in Hannover, Germany.
